How to identify years and options.

For the GS option, the '66 had rear facing hood scoops while the '67 had forward facing scoops.
The front bumper for the '66 dropped downward below the headlights while the '67 was straight across.
The grill on the '66 was flatter while the '67 was deeper and the horizontal break was color coded to the car.
Side chrome accents on the '66 ran the entire length of the body while the '67 only appeared on the fender lips.
Simulated fender vents on the '66 have 3 vertically stacked vents while the '67 had 2 side by side.
The '67 GS 340 had the long body length horizontal stripes.
The trunk molding accent on the '66 was thicker and painted black while the '67 was thinner and chrome plated. Also, the backup lights were on either side of the tag for the '66 while the '67 had them under the tail lights in the bumper.
The rear quarter panel emblems on the '66 were Skylark and GS while the '67 was just GS with the model, i.e. 340 or 400.
