How to identify options. The Malibu has a Malibu emblem on the rear quarter panel and an engine size emblem on the front fender depending on engine selection. The SuperSport (SS) has a Super Sport emblem on the rear quarter panel, a 396 Turbojet emblem on the front fender, and 2 non-functional hood vents. The SS also has SS 396 emblems on the rear facia and front grill.
